Tickets are available NOW for the NEW Downtown Hamilton *KINKY BRUNCH MUNCH*, a presentation of HOT in The Hammer and KINKY to The Core.
Join us at The Staircase Lounge on **SUNDAY JUNE 22 from 10am to 2pm** for a social gathering of kinky individuals, who are invited to attend from all across the GTHA.
The unique part is that while most munches take place in “vanilla” establishments — where kinky attire is not allowed — we have the venue all to ourselves, so that you may dress up as kinky/fetish-y as you like! But, uhhh… no nudity, please, lol. 🖤🖤🖤
As always, HOT in The Hammer presents thought-provoking guest speakers and performers: Photographer Caroline Monte of Captured by Caro, local Artist and Educator Morgan Thorne, Indigenous Author and Artist Stella Vandal, Frank Lawrence of Vibrating Tarot, and others will be taking part!
There will be special brunch items for us, in addition to the light and casual Staircase Cafe menu.
Watch this space for the BRUNCHY, HOT, and KINKY details as the day gets closer, lol.
NOTE: Kink-centric vendors are invited to table in a variety of inviting spaces, both indoors and out! Here is your invitation to fill out an information & application form, to apply for vending space. Spaces are limited in order to preserve indoor vending space in the case of rain, so APPLY NOW! 😃👍 >> Wow, the indoor spaces are already spoken for, and only FIVE outdoor vending spaces are left available. QUESTIONS? Send a DM to @MistressCecilia1
The KINKY BRUNCH Munch is a new GTHA social gathering, and unlike most munches you can dress up!

Join Caro for a playful, empowering workshop on photography, consent, and self-expression in kink spaces. This interactive session is perfect for anyone wanting to level up their Fetlife profiles, explore erotic self-portraiture, or better capture their kink journey with or without partners.
We’ll cover practical tips for lighting, angles, and framing shots that tell a story — plus thoughtful conversation on consent, boundaries, and ethical image-sharing. Bring your camera, phone, and questions; this interactive workshop will troubleshoot real challenges and explore posing solo or with partners, navigating privacy, and negotiating photo-taking in scenes.
Whether you’re new or already experimenting with self-shoots, you’ll leave with skills, inspiration, and confidence to create authentic, sexy, affirming images — while staying safe, consensual, and empowered both behind and in front of the lens.
ABOUT CARO:
Caroline Monte (aka Caro) is a photographer and creative free spirit based in Hamilton, Ontario. With over 15 years behind the lens, Caro’s journey has evolved from documenting her travels to focusing on portraiture that captures powerful, authentic stories. She’s fascinated by the roles we play in different spaces — what makes us feel seen, confident, and in our power. Through her photography business, Captured by Caro, she collaborates with individuals, couples, and communities to create vibrant, unconventional portraits celebrating self-expression, desire, and identity. Her work is cinematic, intuitive, and grounded in trust and authenticity. Wherever you’re coming from in your journey, Caro meets you where you are and holds space for people to be seen as they are: beautiful, complex, and worthy.
Caro is inspired by the precision, creativity, and dedication she witnesses in kink communities — spaces where mastery, vulnerability, and art intertwine. Her goal is to celebrate and dignify these niche worlds through images that exalt. Beyond photography, Caro is always exploring creative play, experimenting with tie-dye, light painting, DJing, and other mediums blending movement, color, and sound. She’s passionate about building joyful, inclusive spaces where art and community collide, inviting others to play and take up space. At the core of her work is a drive to empower others to embrace their full, messy, bold, beautiful selves — and to remind them they deserve to be seen and celebrated in every frame.
"Risk Profiles in Kink: Assess & Express Your Danger Quotient"
If consent is the cornerstone of BDSM, Risk Profiles are a tool that we can use to determine our tolerance for danger; our interest and ability to participate in an activity or with a partner. Risk profiles differ for each person and can change depending on the partner who wants to engage. Assessing and expressing your “danger quotient” is an important skill that helps get the play you want, without the stuff you don’t.
ABOUT MORGAN:
Morgan has been practising BDSM all her adult life. She got an early introduction to kink through the Queer community in the early 1990's and knew she had found 'her people'. She has also spent nearly a decade working as a Professional Dominant, which has allowed her to expand her skills as both a Top and a Dominant. She has been offering workshops, lectures and BDSM training for a number of years as well.
Morgan identifies as both a Sadist and a Dominant. She enjoys playing with a variety of people of all orientations/genders/identities. BDSM is an integral part of her personal, romantic relationships. Morgan is both asexual and pan-romantic.
Prior to her work as a Professional Dominant, Morgan worked in health care. This has allowed her to gain a more thorough understanding of health and safety concerns in kink. She retired due to an injury that lead to chronic pain and disability. It also lead to her interest in medical play, a way to continue to use the skills she learned in health care and to find comfort in the loss of a much-loved career.
Morgan has been active in various forms of activism, including LGBTQIA rights and sex worker rights. She is a strong advocate for equality and the human rights of all people.
"LOVE WITHOUT A MAP"
A chaotic intro to Relationship Anarchy, mutual aid & decolonized affection
Ever feel like monogamy is a pyramid scheme? Or that dating apps are just capitalism in heat? Prepare to snort-laugh with Stella Vandal in a short, spicy plunge into Relationship Anarchy - where love is abundant, hierarchies are optional, and brunch with your ex is totally normal.
We'll flirt with mutual aid, side-eye colonialism, and unpack why "just friends" is a scam.
Bring your curiosity, ditch your rulebook, and prepare to laugh, unlearn, and maybe ghost your inner colonizer.
ABOUT STELLA:
Stella Monique Vandal is a queer and neurodivergent interdisciplinary artist and writer who has made her home on Manitoulin Island. Her work explores the intersections of systemic stigma, personal resilience, and communal care.
She weaves together her lived experiences, drawing on her background as a queer, neurodivergent artist and advocate, the work of psychologists leading in the field, and what she learned living alongside Anishinabek and Haudenosaunee people. Vandal invites the audience to reimagine love, community, and reciprocity beyond hierarchical norms.
Through stories of struggle and transformation, she shares how embracing interdependence and honouring one's sacred point of view can be powerful tools for personal authenticity and collective healing.
Through her art and public engagements, Stella challenges audiences to embrace authentic relationships, deconstruct hierarchies, and build connections rooted in mutual care as radical acts of sovereignty and pathways to collective liberation.

BORN TO SPANK ASS…
I attended My first fetish party in Toronto back in 1998, and have engaged in play on “both sides of the slash” ever since. First I played as a submissive, and then as a switch, and in recent years I have finally found My perfect place as a Dominatrix.
I am a formally trained, mentored and certified graduate of The Evolutionary Dominatrix Academy -- and I’m the only Domme in the Toronto and Hamilton regions (GTA/GHA) with these respected credentials. I love being part of this global sisterhood of superb Dominatrices!❤️ The Academy was established by the legendary Mistress Damiana Chi, PhD., who is based in Los Angeles, and is the owner of a luxurious dungeon located in the DTLA Arts District, The Chi Temple.
As much as I love being at home in The Hammer, I've been able to travel and attend the truly inspirational DomCon Conferences in 2022 (LA), 2023 (LA) and 2024 (New Orleans).
Bringing people together is one of my greatest joys in life! I've managed events and conferences of all kinds, and am an experienced community organizer both professionally and in my private life as a human rights activist. I'm an experienced speaker, writer, facilitator and project manager. I'm also a former burlesque performer who has also done some acting in commercials and local independent films. And I love rock and roll.
I've ben curating and hosting monthly HOT in The Hammer gatherings at The Staircase since February 2024, in collaboration with special guests and audience members alike, so it's delightful to be bringing The KINKY BRUNCH Munch to the same venue.
