Welcome to the core

KINKY to The Core was a new, one-day Kink Lifestyle Conference that took place in Downtown Hamilton on Sunday February 9 - Noon to 5pm, across multiple rooms in The Staircase Café Theatre, located at 25/27 Dundurn Street North.  

The event consisted of workshops, performances, presentations, and of course the lively presence of our community of vendors from across the GTHA Region. It was an opportunity to learn, connect, share knowledge, skills and information, and to network with Hamilton’s growing kink community.

The bright and airy Staircase Café was open to serve you, so that you could refresh yourself with assorted drinks and snacks served by the friendly staff. The Café is fully licensed and serves a range of craft beers, cider and more.  It was a great way to gather with your kinky friends!

If you have a kinky business that you would like to promote in 2026, then KINKY to The Core 2  is where you’re going to want to be! Spaces are limited. The main theatre adjacent to the Café is where one lucky vendor was able to exhibit their business offerings at no charge, as a special guest of the conference. Newly launched, BIPOC-owned, woman-owned and youth-owned businesses are especially encouraged to apply for this unique space. This year's "Innovative Vendor Spotlight" space will benefit from plenty of attendee traffic, as the theatre will be used for five different presentations during the afternoon of the conference.  The winner in 2025 was Frank Lawrence's fascinating crowd-funding fueled start up, VIBRATING TAROT.
